This is geniune 3M tape. Good price and quick delivery, auto refinishing quality.

Worth every dime. The quality of this tape is far superior to standard blue painters tape. Much heavier, more durable, and thick. Not the best for making detailed paint lines because paint likes to bridge onto the tape due to it's thickness. But it sticks really well and worked great for my paint project.

I bought this to use as painters tape because it had better reviews and a lower price than most of the painters tapes I looked at. So I can't speak to how it performs on automotive surfaces. But as a paint-blocking tape, it's fantastic! No bleeding whatsoever. I've even cut small shapes to replace parts of a stencil and it held up perfectly! My new go-to painters tape!
