Terrific results!
This product came in within 2 days and was exactly as advertised. I packed my car to the headliner, so I couldn't use my rear view mirror. I mounted the large screen next to my Garmin, tilted my rear view up and out of my windshield visibility, ran the coax to the rear window, plugged the system into a splitter cigarette lighter socket, used command strip double back tape on the 2 mounts provided, flanking the camera and away I drove! I had it setup for about 10 days while I travelled from Tennessee to Nevada. It took the system a few times before it saved my preferences, probably because the lighter socket shutdown every time I turned off the car. Also, the tree leaves were green, but showed a bit of red tint on the monitor; no problem for me. After working with the company, I found out that it was because I had mounted the camera inside my car and it was pointing out my rear window, which was tinted and seemingly polarized, so don't be alarmed if this happens to you. It only affected the fringe peripherals of the picture. After those green leaves left the edges and appeared closer to the center of the screen, their color was normal. This is not a problem with the FooKoo, it is because of your back tinted window. After I raised the rear door, I saw that the picture was perfect. And, by perfect, I mean color and angle. If you mount the camera outside of your vehicle, you will see a perfect picture. I only mention these things to answer anyone's questions if this happens to you. This camera system made it so that I had zero blind spot. If used 24/7/365, you could probably convince your car insurance company to reduce your insurance premium. I know that a couple of companies out there do that sort of thing; Safety means Savings! So,with this setup, I had no blind spot on my entire trip. The picture showed a bit wide view and everything was actually closer than it appeared on screen, similar to the passenger side mirror, but it gives you the very best viewing content for decision making. The seller was very involved in follow-up and sent me a third shorter coax and a windshield suction mount for free. I bought a few accessory wires for connecting to the cigarette lighter socket, so that I wouldn't have to hardwire it, but it was pretty easy peasy! All up and overall, I am really impressed with the quality and value; plus with the seller involvement. I shopped on-line for a couple of days trying to get the very best value. This was my second attempt and time was running out for my impending move with our car. The first one that I bought was wireless from another company and I returned it. I like this one way better. Just a quick note. The reason the first one did not work for me was because I used an AC/DC adapter wall to cigarette lighter socket with 12 Volt 500 mA output. These devices use more than half an Ampere, so you must check them out either using the car outlet socket or a higher amperage one in your home; like at least about 2 Amps. Now a days, it is always refreshing to get a great product at a fair price. I am totally good with this purchase! Angela worked with me very closely and I think that with the quality and value of this system product; the usefulness and effectiveness of this product; and the swiftness of delivery and involvement of the company representative; you simply cannot go wrong making this purchase. And, like I said, it was super easy to test and install; plus, it is easy to remove and reinstall whenever you need or want to. I wish that I could give it 11 stars!

Possibly the best wired backup/rear view camera for an RV on the market!
I was in the market for a backup/rear view camera for my new travel trailer RV. Since it was prewired and had a mount for a Furrion wireless system I looked at those and they were about 4 times more expensive than this system. I went on to learn that most if not all of the affordable wireless systems have issues with framerates and dropouts at highway speeds and I wanted to be able to see behind my rigg while driving. I did not want issues with the signal so I started looking at wired systems.I am so glad that I found this Fookoo Ⅱ HD Backup Camera System Kit. The kit came with everything needed to install with the exception of a second cable for the tow vehicle which will allow for disconnecting the RV at the hitch. It is my understanding that if you contact the seller, they will send you a second cable for free. I did not want to wait so I ordered a second cable at time of purchase. The kit comes with several mounting options for the camera including all the hardware you need and a gasket. I decided to mount mine to the bottom of the preinstalled Furrion mount and this seems to work great. I ran the cable along the black trim of my siding by drilling small holes in the edge of the trim and using zip ties to secure the cable. It is virtually invisible to the untrained eye. I ran the cable along the bottom frame of the RV up to the tongue using zip ties as needed. Be aware that the connector from the camera to the cable is not waterproof and does not have an O'ring. I filled mine with dielectric grease to prevent corrosion issues.I installed the shorter cable on my F-150 starting at the bumper and used zip ties to secure the cable forward to the cab and entered thru an existing rubber grommet. Hookup of the provided monitor cable was a breeze as I was able to pull out the radio and had access to the ground and switched 12V power source from the radio cables. I spliced into the radio harness easy peasy. The monitor comes with several mounting options including all the hardware and brackets you might need. I decided to use the provide suction cup mount that came with the monitor and attach the monitor to my windshield. I did not want to drill holes in the dash or to use double sided tape. This provided the best viewing angle and reduced and blind spot created by the monitor. As you can see in the attached pics, the monitor is high resolution and bright! It is smart and remembers what state it was in when you turn off the ignition and it will return to that state when you start back up. Sorry for the lack of a better image as the RV is backed against my garage door and there is not much to see at the moment. If I had any complaints it would be that there are no dust/weather caps provided for the cable ends that are exposed at the tongue/bumper when the RV is not connected. I found some rubbler caps and filled the ends of the cables with dielectric grease to help prevent issues with corrosion.I gave 5 stars for everything but ease of install. This is not as easy as a wireles system because the cables have to be properly installed and I had to get into the guts of the dash of my truck. Still easily doable if you are the least bit handy with tools and working of vehicles.Time will tell how durable this system is and I will update my review when I have some time and miles on the system.

Great Product and Amazing Customer Service Before/After Purchase
First off Angela who handled all of my inquiries and solved all of my install issues both before/after the purchase is far above that I have ever experienced. The picture quality and very simple design made the installation easy even though this is a wired system. My vehicle is a open top Jeep which even during the day the monitor provides enough brightness and clarity to see at a glance. Although I haven't had the system for a long period of time I feel the quality of the entire system will provide years of uninterrupted service. I will definitely recommend this system to my entire Jeep club who have been actively searching for a camera system.I will submit a long term evaluation of this system in the future. It has been over 1 month of heavy usage of the camera system, and it has worked flawlessly. I have logged over 2k miles of on/off road in a open top Jeep. I have been in Death Valley with temperature hovering around 105 degrees and driving on the freeway at speeds dealing with rain fall. All the cameras/display screen did not fail! At times the rain was heavy in conjunction with the heat/wind/dust I was worried.I would recommend this system to anyone whom needs a system that is tolerant to the extreme weather conditions a open top vehicle may subject it to.Update: It has been about 5 months since the purchase and have logged over 7k miles with the system which is on all the time. Light rain, extreme heat, and dust intrusion has not damaged the entire system. I am impressed!
