Q: Can you use this for a modular synth

Yes, it has a pair of CV, gate, clock & mod outputs. However, it's not the best keyboard controller if you just need modular connectivity. What really sells this controller is it's integration with Reason and modular. If you use both Reason and external modular synths then it's absolutely amazing and works better than anything else I've seen.

semi weighted. its a good keyboard

Q: Hello. Does this come with Ableton Lite software?

Yes it does although it is pretty limited. You can upgrade to intro for 79 pounds once you've set account up. Standard jumps up quite a lot though.

A very fantastic Controller for any studio situation

Not bad.

It's a decent controller, but it's missing quite a few features to make it a winner.A song mode for example.Also it can't do sysex and control older synths like my mks70. So it's like 80% of a controller that fully works.You can't really use it as a live performer without a song mode, and it's not a fully fledged midi controller in the studio because it can't even control as much as the sl MK2It also focuses too much on being an Ableton controller and doesn't have proper scripts for cubase for example.It lacks a proper identity for me.
