I purchased this item after suffering a dislocated shoulder back in June. Following a shoulder operation in October I was advised to ice the shoulder frequently. Being a person who does not like to sit still for too long I always find putting "bags of frozen peas" on an area to be quite a nuisance. I purchased this item so I could still move aroung while icing my shoulder. Initially I purchased a size too large as the advert said the L/XL was suitable for chests over 38". Being a size 12/14 I should have purchased the Sm/Med which turned out to fit extremely well. A quick call to the supplier resulted in a Sm/med one being sent by return post.The adjustable straps on this item give a really snug fit around the shoulder socket, just where the ice was required and is really comfortable to wear. I am now receiving physio so am still using the Active Wrap daily and I have no doubt this item has contributed to my speedy recovery. I would recommend this item to anyone suffering from a shoulder injury.
