Check cpu cores/threads, base and max boost, (higher base speed does make a difference), 1 or 2 nics, type of display outputs, number of usb ports in back, case style - wide (gr9) has 2 fans and supports an extra m.2 sata port ... depends on the differences that matter to you. But, these go on sale very often 15-20% so never pay full price. If you are only getting one, get the best on on sale you can afford like the GR( case 4900H or 5900HX, the base speed does matter. it is worth a hundred or so more if you actually use the pc.

I am not sure about that specific tool but I have used other similar filters (such as noise) with no issues at all. Everything in PS runs way faster than on my fairly new laptop. Hope that helps. PS I am upgrading to the max RAM of 64gb and I added a second ssd drive so total storage is 1tb.
