I enjoyed this question so much I took a snapshot of it and showed my gf. I got this for her as a gift. She absolutely loves it. I always get stuffed animals for her when I travel, and this is her favorite by far. She always tells me it now replaces me on the bed. So, yes, definitely huggable for an adult. Yes, it is loved, big time.
