Does this product have allergy warnings about shellfish or nuts of any kind? Thanks.

I don't recall seeing any warnings about possible allergy resctions. Shellfish and nuts are not typical ingredients in any commercial curry powder. I certainly have not tasted their presence. I do like Sharwoods and use it frequently.

Does this product contain wheat, rye or barley

No, according to the ingredients list, but it is "Produced in a factory which handles Sesame, Wheat, Soya and Milk." It does contain Mustard seed.

Is this product shipped within the u.s.a or canada?

I can't recall where it's manufactured, but it's imported into the U.S. April Enterprises is a U.S. company and we purchase directly from the importer.

Why does it have to be cooked?

I wasn't aware that it did!! I've been using it for years, and have NEVER cooked it. I use it in my Curry Chicken Wraps, and just stir it into the mayo before adding cooked chicken.
