This is a replacement ordered for the original which had the EXACT same issue. Ordered just 10 days ago and used just twice and again, this is broken. It’s just really bad quality, I can say. The opening-closing mechanism seems very brittle and this ring I’ve shown in the pics seems to be very cheap quality or very flimsily tied. And once this is broken, then the opening-closing doesn’t work and you have a dead weight in your hand.

I use this every day while traveling to work, and it’s been fantastic. It’s windproof, lightweight, and the unique handle makes it easy to carry or hang on my bag.

Comparing with "similar carbine handles" this is much better and sturdy with extra ribs. Easy to open close for Women. Little costly...had rated 5, it cost @ 1000....but still prefer this as better than others.

The reverse folding feature is a game-changer! It keeps the wet side inside when I close it, so my bag and clothes stay dry. The quality is solid, and the grey color is sleek and modern.

It's not compact as mentioned. Its bigger. Initially it was wind proof but after few uses it's not wind proof. But the quality of the cloth and handle is top notch.
