Q: Snap-on means the socket snaps on rite? Because its not a Snap On brand wrench

Hard to say. I think it must be a Snap On product. The instruction booklet labels it as "A Snap On Specialty Tool Product". It's an excellent torque wrench and comes with a hard plastic case for storage. When you use it, don't forget that you have to press the button on the back of the head to release the socket.

Q: Where is this wrench manufactured?

Manufactured by CDI out of City of Industry, California. On the wrench itself it states Made in the USA. With US and Foreign Parts.

Q: Does this come with a current Calibration certification?

Mine came with a certificate Unfortunately, the number on my certificate and the tool itself do not match (last two digits 29 vs 30), so I am really not sure if the certificate is valid or not

Q: For a weekend mechanic who does brake jobs, suspension work and engine repairs, would I be better off with a wrench with a 150 ft lbs limit?

Ford technican here. A 150 ft lb torque wrench would be fine for a weekend mechanic. There isn't a lot that requires more than 150 ft lbs unless your replacing axles, doing drivetrain work or internal engine/transmission work. But on the other hand, it isn't going to hurt to have the larger capacity wrench just in case you do happen do take on a larger job.
