Even better than I remember
I was a young man when I first tasted Powers and I was very impressed. I've been a lifelong, primarily whisky and whiskey drinker, but Powers dipped way below my horizon for many years! I saw it on Amazon as I was ordering another Irish whiskey and thought, why not; 'for the sake of auld lang syne!' What a great decision. Powers is, if anything even better than my memory of it. Deliciously sweet, mild and mellow, with a finish that lasts a considerable length of time.

Really smooth, very pleasant flavour, and a distinctive character. I shall buy this again - despite being a dedicated Scotch malt whisky fan.

Great value Irish Whiskey
a neighbour joined us in the garden for wine, then we both produced our own Irish Whiskey bottles for comparison, we loved this one and could not believe what great value this was when we saw it on Amazon - we had our own bottle within 24 hours! great stuff!

Full flavoured rich whisky, very well done.Single distilleryNot chill filtered43.2%This is up in single malt territory on many levels, with the higher strength you can add a touch of water to open up the flavours. Volvic is best branded water for this, a teaspoon in a generous measure is a good start.
