Excellent 4k transfer

Just One of the Best Marvel Movie, Pure Movie Gold and Ultra 4k Blu Ray

Great film and now in sort of 4K.Excellent entry in to the Avengers first outing.Don’t buy this expecting the Joss Whedon commentary as you will need to buy the American release for that.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the UK 4K disc was the uncensored original american "The Avengers" rather than the usual UK "Avengers Assemble" with a certain point being erased.

A decent upgrade that actually gives us UK viewers the uncensored version of the film at last (it was a tiny censor, but it was there previously, even in the theatrical release). The title "Avengers Assemble" is hastily and lazily subtitled over the US title, rather than them simply redoing the UK title properly, and unfortunately the audio commentary that was missing on the original UK blu-ray (because our discs have to be mastered earlier, apparently) is still missing here, because doing another version of the blu-ray is clearly far too difficult. There's no Dolby Vision, but HDR10 does improve image quality considerably.

The movie is great, with stunning visuals in 4K HDR and Dolby Atmos in the 7.1.4 setup. Check the images I uploaded.

The HD Blu Ray was great looking, but for some reason, shorter. This looks even better and has the full run time.
