the kit is very good value for money and has enough difficulty to satisfy the builder who has made a couple of large "airfix" models. My father is 82 and was a tradesman and has been very satisfied building it

the planking was of wood that was far too hard to bend in a conventional way using a plankforming tool. I found the only way i could bend the plankig was to steam bend it this is very time consuming and does not always work. I have made several models and have found this to be the hardest. The instructions are not the clearest, I could not reccomend this kit to an amateur I have had many years experience working with wood and found thic to be the most challenging.
