Worked perfect on my 2018 CR-V. Watched a couple of YouTube videos. The bottle attaches to the hose with left threads, so no righty tighty.

Easy to install, expensive, charging cable is good quality reusable works well.

When my car’s A/C stopped cooling properly, I learned that recharging the refrigerant is often a quick fix. I’d never done it before, but after some research, this kit seemed like a good choice — well-priced and it included the necessary gauge.While there were no instructions in the box, the process is straightforward: start the car, turn the A/C on high with the windows down, connect the hose to your vehicle’s port, attach the can, and add refrigerant a little at a time. You may lose a small amount when connecting the can to the hose, and the can can freeze up during use — a short pause to let it defrost solves that.The result? My A/C is now blowing cold and strong again, and I saved a significant amount compared to the \$150–\$200 a mechanic or dealership would charge. Perfect and simple to use, recharged my a/c for my 2016 honda civic in 10 minutes. Way cheaper to do it yourself than having the mechanic sell you a new system for $1600.

I have used several A/C kits and this one is by far the worst. It came with no instructions which led to an immediate leak upon screwing the hose in. About half the can leaked out into the air and upon contacting the company they responded once but then stopped. I attempted to contact Amazon who could not help me since it is a 3rd party company. Buy locally from an Auto Parts store or Wal-Mart and save yourself some hassle.

Something is wrong

Extremely simple and easy kit to do. I did not get any instructions with mine so I just checked out some YouTube videos on how to do it and it’s quite simple and straightforward no matter what brand you use. One thing I did learn though is to hook it up to your low pressure Port air-conditioning hose before attaching the refrigerant bottle to the hose. Otherwise you always waste some. Hook the hose up first to your vehicle, then screw the other end of the hose into the bottle and you’re ready to go so there’s no wasted Freon otherwise works great and it’s quite simple. Only took me 10 minutes to do mine.
