These puzzles are a great price for the quality and quantity given. These are great for my classroom and are the quality you would expect for classroom use. Sturdy enough to not break, but not the highest quality. The only negative aspect to them is that they don’t fit snugly inside the wooden frame. They are a bit loose in the frame with a gap along the edges. This is probably so little fingers can reach in to grab the pieces, but I prefer a tangram puzzle with a snug fit.

What a great bargain! I got these for my classroom hoping to challenge the minds of my little first graders and was not disappointed.

This so good for what we need. We have a tangram cards with our homeschool supplies, so we didn’t need cards/book/images, just the tiles. The “book” it comes with is a tiny piece of paper with even tinier diagrams on them. Smaller than a penny. We don’t need them, so it doesn’t matter to me, but others should think twice.Tiles are a good size and thick.

The 3rd and 4th grade students enjoyed having actual physical tangrams.

Tangrams are a game? puzzle? brain teaser? fun? Yes to all. Seven small wood (cardboard, plastic, whatever ) pieces when combined in a set pattern create a square. The challenge when playing alone or with others is to copy a pattern already completed using all seven pieces. Sounds simple, correct? The directions for building the pyramids were simple also: pile these blocks one on another until it is a pyramid. Building tangrams gives lots of opportunities for those “aha!” moments when all the pieces come together to create your figure. It is amazing how much fun you can have with seven wooden shapes!

I ordered tangram sets because I already knew these picture puzzle kits are awesome, and I got just what I ordered! Can't complain when you get exactly what you were hoping for!

The puzzles themselves are nice - made of wood, but the picture with the various designs to try an create are on one tiny piece of paper that is about 4 inches x 4 inches and there are about 20 tiny designs on that paper, not very visible. So for children who benefit from putting various designs together from a picture, it's not easy to see the picture.
