I haven't sprayed the mace yet but all seems well. I did charge and test the stun gun. My bf was expecting it to go off and he still jumped when he heard it. Lol. And he's a big tough country guy. Made me laugh so I figure it will work although I hope I'll never need it. On the stun gun, the top doesn't stay on at all. Not sure how I'll fix this.. Maybe it's a defective top and I'll be able to get a different one.(update:no matter what I do to report the top to the stun gun, I can't get a replacement so be weary when you buy) Kind of important the top stays on because the buttons are under the top if the top slides off I don't want to accidently discharge it. I bought the black ones and they look like lipstick and mascara. Easily hidden.. The stun gun also has a seperate button to just use it as a flashlight so I thought this was a nice touch.
