Capillus Anti Residue Shampoo, Scalp Clarifying Shampoo, Promote Healthy Hair Growth while detoxing from product build up, for Hair Growth

First, I will say that I am not using this line of product due to any hair loss. I do not have that issue at this time. I’m using it because I needed a very good shampoo that would remove all buildup. I decided this after going to my hairdresser, who told me I had a lot of product build-up in my hair. She did not have any product in the salon that she thought would really be ideal. She was also afraid of me using a clarifying shampoo that would strip out the toner that she had just put on my hair after highlighting it. Truth be told, I was not crazy about the toner she used this time anyway. It was much ashier than I like, so I decided to just go for it with this shampoo. It sounded like it was high-quality and carefully formulated to protect the hair. I decided I really couldn’t go wrong. I’m glad I made that decision. Also, I will tell you that if you have thick coarse hair like I do, you will definitely need a conditioner after using it. It takes everything off the hair shaft as far as buildup goes. It feels like it takes the oil as well. It left my hair feeling very clean, but also very dry. I always use conditioner, so I just used my normal conditioner this time as well. I’m very happy with the results. It did tone down the ashiness of the toner and it also seem to completely get rid of the buildup on my hair. The smell is like a combination between bubblegum and something floral. It is a pleasant smell. Very different from anything else I have used. I also love that it is sulfate and paraben free. Very important to me. While it is a little bit pricey, if you were looking for some thing high-quality that actually works, I would recommend it. A little goes a long way.

This shampoo does a great job of clarifying my scalp and removing product build-up from my hair. I have long, baby-fine hair that tangles very easily. It is oily near the scalp and dry and brittle near the ends. It looks flat, limp and lifeless by the end of the day. I have to wash it every morning in the hopes of having any fullness at all. I also condition it on most days, so I like using a clarifying shampoo to perk up my hair once a week or so.The clear shampoo is fairly thick but not rich or heavy. There is a fairly pronounced herbal/floral scent that has a bit of a sharp undertone. I found it a bit odd, but it doesn't really bother me. And it doesn't seem to linger for very long. Once my hair was dry, it just smelled clean to me. The list of ingredients shows that there is an added fragrance in addition to several floral and herbal extracts. The produces a fair amount of very finely textured lather. It leaves my hair squeaky clean and rinses away completely. The first time I used it I didn't follow up with a conditioner, just so I could see what it did for my hair. It did contribute to some excess tangling which made combing through my damp hair a bit of hassle. Next time I'll try using a conditioner just on the ends of my hair. Once dry, my hair felt very clean and had nice volume. It even seemed to brighten up my highlights (I have natural dark blonde hair and I get golden highlights during the summer). Even better, my scalp feels so nice (it often feels dry, itchy & irritated).The shampoo arrived boxed and properly sealed. It is pricey, but I only need to use a mall amount, and since I will be using this just once a week or so, it should last quite a while.

This shampoo is a relatively small bottle and very pricey. It may have great benefits and qualities but the smell is something reminiscent of menthol cough drops and grape medicine. Just not something I love and want to keep using, especially for the price.

This Capillus Anti Residue Shampoo is a nice clarifying shampoo I've been using on the days I use my red light therapy brush. I can't afford the company's laser cap but this shampoo is a good companion for my brush. The scent isn't my favorite. I do like the way my hair and scalp feel after using, not stripped but completely clean.

This shampoo clarifies very well. This leaves my hair feeling absolutely squeaky clean. Which is nice, but I do still want to have some moisture in my hair. If you need something this heavy duty, this may be a good product for you. I can achieve the results I want with other products.

I also use whatever shampoo I find on clearance lol. All that to say, I don't take the best care of my hair so there is a lot of buildup in my hair, I can almost feel it. This shampoo really "striped" everything out. Including the natural oils I think-but it sure does feel clean now.- As for the smell, I just sprayed some body spray all over me after my shower and all was good lol

This is a very impressive shampoo in terms of getting you hair and scalp clean, it works noticeably better than any other shampoo I have tried! My hair has never felt so clean, and it seems to be helping with dandruff as well. It has a rather "medicinal" smell, which is neither here nor there for me, but it does smell like a product that is intended to work with a hair loss treatment system. It lathers nicely. I also like the fact that it is actually made in the USA, although that's a reason why it comes with the premium price tag. If you're using the hair restoration system, this is obviously a necessity. But if you're simply looking for an incredibly high quality shampoo and don't mind the premium price tag or a bit of a medicinal smell, it's definitely worth a try!
