Trendy and Cute
This carrier is great for a small cat, even an overweight one like mine. I find the leash that's attached on the inside can get tangled when your pet is inside so I don't know why that's there. The bottom is sturdy with the wood insert and plush soft bedding. If your pet is heavier, carrying it by the shoulder strap is not recommended. It just feels too heavy for that. The handles hold pretty well and the construction of this feels pretty sturdy.

Excellent pet carrier
Very nice quality, looks comfy, and a good size for my kitty. I like being able to put her in/take her out through either the front or top. There are padded handles, as well as a padded shoulder strap for carrying options. It is quite rigid, so I don’t think it would fold down, but haven’t tried that. I have also not tried it on a plane. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase and would highly recommend it for an average-sized cat or small dog.

Great carrier!
I'm a vet tech and I purchased this carrier to transport my little fur monster to and from work every day. Yes, I get to bring my dog to work with me, don't be jealous, LOL. I wanted something with a shoulder strap so my hands would be free to open doors, clock in, grab a coffee, etc.... ...and I wanted something with a lot of open mesh so she could see and get plenty of ventilation. I also wanted something attractive in a classy way (no doubt she's a princess but "pink or purple", no thank you!). This carrier checked all my boxes and then some. It's very expensive "looking" without breaking the bank. It's very light weight so it doesn't add to the overall weight when occupied. It has lots of mesh windows, which also happens to be a very durable mesh. It has two easy to use access points (one on top and one on the front). The shoulder strap is comfortable and stays on my shoulder. When carrying her using the shoulder strap, she doesn't tilt over to the side, so she remains level which in turn keeps her relaxed. I love that the bed cover is removable & washable. If I could make any chances to the carrier I would: Add arched supports to the top to help maintain it's height and prevent it from sinking in. It doesn't sink in much but it does a little which decreases the head space. Also, a longer, softer, shoulder pad. And finally a better way to secure a car seat-belt. Overall, I love this carrier but most importantly so does the little nugget.

A great carrier
I love this carrier. It looks good, is easy to carry around, is spacious enough for my cat and is very easy to store. That being said I thought that being able to look around through the mesh would be nice for my cat, but in fact I think it stresses him out more, so this might not be the best choice for cats who can get a bit agitated outside of their comfort area.

Product is great...customer service is even better
I bought two of the Rhodium Series carriers because the carriers I had were getting older plus my two cats are a bit bigger and needed more room. I'm really impressed with the quality of the carriers and I set them up in the living room so my cats could sniff of them and explore them. The both ended up laying in them and that let me know they were a good size.I like that the pads have a plywood base to help keep the bottom from sagging. Especially with my to chunky kitties. I haven't had to take them anywhere yet but I don't foresee any issues with using the carriers. Now to the customer service.I wanted to buy two replacement pads in case I need to change them out and didn't have time to wash them or if something happened to the pads that came with the carriers but I didn't see replacement pads on Amazon for the Rhodium Series (I saw them on the Mr. Peanut website so I knew they existed).I left a question on the carriers listing on Amazon to ask if there was a listing for the replacement pads on Amazon and I just wasn't finding them. Michael from Mr. Peanut was extremely helpful. He let me know that I could order another type of Mr. Peanut replacement pads and just send a note that I wanted the Rhodium Series replacement pads. He made it quick and painless to get what I needed.I want to address one other thing and that's the price of the carriers. I know these carriers are a bit more than other carriers but I would like to point out a few things.1. Cheaper carriers can be made with inferior materials. I found one carrier that looked promising but it had multiple reviews that there was a chemical smell to the carrier when they received it. They said they aired it out and it didn't smell anymore but I didn't want to take that chance for a few reason. Cats' noses are much more sensitive to smells than humans and just because I couldn't smell it didn't mean they couldn't. Also, I didn't want to put my cats into carriers that could have contained harmful chemicals that they could get on their fur. Especially since cats groom extensively and could ingest those chemicals.2. These carriers are very, very sturdy. I don't take my cats many places (they're both strictly inside cats), but I have no concern that these carriers won't hold them or won't last. I think they will do both without a problem.Overall, I'm happy with these carriers. If that changes, I will, of course, update my review.
