Q: How wide and long is the quad base, between outside edges of the tips, in inches? How hard to change handedness on the go? Thank you.

The width and length is 5.9 inches and 8.3 inches. It will take about 5 seconds to change the handedness, very convenient.

Q: In adjusting heigth there is movement in that part.how come???.

Adjusting the height was never the problem. The four point stand is not level. When I turn loose of the cane it wants to turn over.
