These are very neat. My 7 year old put them together mostly unaided but with some parental guidance and assistance. They had motors and movable working parts which worked well. The only downside is there are lots of small wooden parts which were at times fragile to push out of the wooden sheets. They are also easy to mix up. So just be cautious when organizing the pieces.

This kit is great! I was honestly surprised to find that the dinosaurs can actually walk across the table (forwards and backwards) and aren't just wiggling their legs. It was also nice that it comes with extra parts in case any break or get lost. I'd suggest an adult will need to help if younger children are building the dinosaurs, as the printed instructions are tiny and can be difficult to follow, and some of the wooden pieces were a tight fit to assemble.

My 8 year old homeschooler was thrilled that this was his prize for good piano practice. He was able to put it together completely by himself and his older brother was happy he got one too. They looked a little lame coming out of the box, but are actually holding up nice for a craft. I want them to work up to being able to make a marble maze. This is good for first timers. If you want a real impressive sturdy toy this is not it. I would give it a a gift to kids that like crafts though. It would make a great party favor.

I got this set for my seven-year-old for Christmas. He loves it! It was pretty simple to follow the instructions. I like that it has pictures of each step. However, we accidentally received the instructions for the T-Rex twice and do not have the instructions for the brachiosaurus. I’m not sure how to get in contact with the sender to request the instructions for those.
