very gentle to hair and cleans deeply down to roots leaves hair soft and well balance to its natural state, this shampoo does everything it says it does. I love this product. Cleans all product buildup out and gets scalp free of any product debris as well. Conditioners seem to do their job much easier after using this clarifying shampoo.
