I recently picked up Croatia and found it to be a great resource for my upcoming travels. The book offers insightful information about the country's attractions and history, which will definitely enhance my trip. It's a solid guide, and I look forward to bringing it along on our journey. However, I do wish there were more hotel options listed, especially for the smaller towns. Despite that, it’s still a helpful tool for planning, and I’m excited to explore Croatia with this book in hand!

Exactly what we needed for our trip to the islands from Split, we loved Brac and Hvar. Croatia was beautiful! Fodors travel tips and maps were very helpful. Good tip on Hvar's Black Pepper restaurant, was delicious (if a tiny bit pricey but we knew to expect this!), definitely recommend.

I was disappointed that this guidebook was so vague. Other Fodor guidebooks have included walking tours of cities, but this one doesn't. We needed information about ferries to Hvar island and there was nothing. It also would have been helpful to know that many places don't accept credit cards. You'll need lots of Euros.
