Buck/boost DC power supplies have always been handy, but they’ve also previously required a substantial DC input supply, which isn’t easy to get, and usually bulky and not portable when you do find one. The Genius of this unit is that it works with USB power delivery (PD) power supplies. This means you can power it anywhere you can plug-in a USB PD adapter: a car, an AC outlet, or even any USB PD battery pack. Views or interface is thoughtfully designed, and very easy to use. I especially appreciate the separate power on/off control for the outputs, and the many overvoltage and overcurrent safety features. I love the colorful display! The supplied hard case is roomy enough to also enclose the hundred watt AC USB PD brick that I have.

The nameing of this product is a little off as it is not a power supply but more a power supply controller/regulator. This device requires an outside power supply to function as there are no mains connections. Overall, I like the unit after I purchased a suitable supply for it.
