The vinyl coating prevents the sweaty hand from slipping. To extend the longer use life, it is not recommended to store the dumbbells outside for a long time.

Are these dumbbells durable or do they deteriorate after a few months? Thank you.

Mine are still going strong after a year, though I keep them in a cool place
