Q: How much assembly is required and how easy for an elderly woman with arthritis?

No assembly, only extension of handle. Other thing you have to do is fix the grass basket. Always fiddly - if you don't have much garden, leave it off. Only other thing is fitting in the batteries for loading and working - easy enough if you match the pins with the slots and can push into place. Very light machine and easy to maneuver.

Q: Can anyone tell me how long is the mower with the grass box attached?

Hi.. Approximately 66 cm from front wheel to the end of the grass box when attached to the mower. And approximately 131 cm from front wheel to the end mower handle. Hope this help and good luck. Hussain
