Orion was primarily developed based on numerous requests from our customers, who asked us to create a playmat holder 100% compatible with the Quiver Card Cases and the Bolt Card Cases. Hi Zack This is Korn from Quiver Time. Thank you for your interest in our product. :) Unfortunately a 28" x 14" playmat would not fit inside the Orion playmat tube as it will be too big in diameter when rolled-up. I am sorry to have to tell you this. :( You see... we designed the Orion to fit most playmats out there checking the 24x14 and 24x15 inches ones but had to consciously leave out the longer ones like yours as this would have made our playmat tube too wide and then the other smaller types would fit too loose. So we had to make a compromise somewhere. We are however keeping count on requests of a bigger version of the Orion playmat tube to fit bigger playmats and when we'll gather a little more we will start working on such a variant. I will take the liberty to add you as a voter of this so the numbers add-up faster. :) In the meantime, if you're having troubles finding a storage and carrying option for your beloved playmats I recommend you try our Quiver card case (multiple colors available) and see if it fits your needs. Please keep in mind that you can always return it in 30 days since you'll have received it if it's not what you seek. :) I hope I managed to properly answer your question, Zack.
