Do not use a torch, the heat will melt the metal before the color can attach

I've been trying to get the nerve to try colouring on laser works..thus paint was recommended and it does the job . Actually very thrilled how much powder is in 2 oz

I watched online videos and used a heat gun. It worked really well. This was my second color to get after I first ordered Red Craw which ended up to be almost black. Fire Red is actually a bright orange. I ended up mixing half fire red and half red craw which gave me a standard red. The color of the powder does not necessarily equal the finished color. Do your research online to figure out which color equals what you’re looking for.

Was able to do a lot of crescent sinker weights for our Salmon fishing. Time consuming for sure, heat gun and using a spoon to coat the powder onto the lead work best for me.

Do not purchase this item if you are looking for red paint. I ordered this product and paid double the price of other vendors because I needed it in a hurry for a very important custom order for a customer. This paint is orange. I thought maybe after I baked the painted heads in the oven that it would appear more red. That was not the case.
