This anvil is an inexpensive replacement. A few months ago I lent my DCF899 Type 4 impact to my sister for her boyfriend to see if they could get the lug nuts off her van. When they were done, he said it was locked up. Upon disassembly, I found the anvil managed to gall with the nose cap. I filed on it until it seemed to free up and worked with DeWalt to try to get a replacement which they later sent. However, I'm going to give this brand a try and see how it does. The dimensions seemed to match up to the original and it fit in fine and spins freely. Time will tell how well it holds up to the little bit that I use it for. It's a reasonable price. The greasy one was the DeWalt and the clean was this aftermarket brand.
