Best product I've used
Anyone growing hydroponically has probably encountered "root slime." It appears as a clear or brownish mucus-looking substance on the roots of plants. It's commonly called brown slime algae, which actually isn't algae at all, but a cyanobacteria. This will coat the roots, keeping them from breathing or absorbing nutrients. The roots then die and rot, killing the plant.I grow cannabis for medical purposes and I've used many things to try to control the root slime. While some types of compost tea will work wonders, this product is much easier to use. It works fast and I have used it to cure root slime if I catch it early. As a preventative it really does the job. I've never had root slime start in a reservoir containing Orca. This was the last product I tried because I put off purchasing it. It is a little pricey. However, I wish I just would have used this first as it is easy and effective. It may be expensive, but it goes a long ways. When I use it as a preventative, I use only half of a ml per gallon, so a quart (947 ml) will treat almost 1900 gallons of water. The price of treatment per gallon then is less than 3 cents. That's a very inexpensive cure for a very costly problem. While there are much cheaper methods of treating root slime, I've not seen one more convenient than Orca.

Wonderful
I bought this product last year and I use it in conjunction with other root stimulants when I am doing transplants of shrubs and flowers. It works . Recently i did a transplant of a shrub I had treated with this product and you can how the roots of the plants are well developed. It made the roots white though. I will buy it again when it is finished.

Hydros best friend.
Definitely recommend for hydro. A little spendy, but worth it. Keeps the roots nice and white.

Rancid bottle
Product was rancid. Bottle was sealed new. Normally Orca is a clearish/cloudy white. This is brown, and smells so bad I can't open the cap inside.

Massive root ball and tons of micro rootlets
I did a test with a few different types of plants where I used #1. Orca, #2. Great White with Orca and #3. no rooting stimulant/microryza for the control group. Then I used all the same micro and macro nutrients so I could see the difference in using Orca and Great White. After I harvested the plants, I examined the root balls and could see the difference in each method. #2 (Orca & Great White)had the largest root ball and was extremely white. #1’s root ball was approximately 5-10% smaller than #2 but seemed to have more micro rootlets. Also, #1(Orca)had the whitest roots. #3(control group) had root balls that were approximately 50% smaller than groups 1 and 2. #3’s root balls were brown and thinner. The plant medium that I used for this test was Foxfarm Ocean Forest soil. I have done this test a few other times in hydroponics and had similar results. The only difference with hydroponics is it was much easier to see the difference in the roots being that I didn’t have to destroy the root ball to examine them. I'm thinking of testing Orca against some other similar products sold on Amazon. I forgot to take pictures, so I will definitely update later on with my pictures of the next run.
