Wow! As soon as I opened this jar, the smokiness was evident, and delicious. Plus it's organic! This is some really nice smoked paprika and just what I wanted! I read some reviews that said this was "hot", but it isn't to me, not a bit. I just tossed some into my latest batch of chili, and it really added a wonderful OAK/SWEETNESS note to it. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

I researched this brand before buying it. Buying American-made, American-owned products whenever possible is important to me, especially if the price is competitive or even just a little more. This smoked paprika is priced well and I like the source, as well as the family/ company/ farm history.The big bonus is the freshness and taste! It comes with a freshness seal on the jar. When I opened the package, the aroma coming from it was so nice before I even got to the bottle. It has that nice deep red color you'd expect in a quality smoked paprika. But the real proof is in the taste. It is delicious on burgers, pork bbq, and ribs, along with some sea salt, pepper, and whatever else you like using. It adds a nice smoky flavor, similar to what you get on bbq potato chips. I find it tastes better than any other smoked paprika I've used, and honestly, I'm usually a Mccormick or Lawry's girl. We here in the south, especially the Charleston, SC area, know good food. This is good.I'll order this every time it's available and I need smoked paprika. You really can't go wrong on this one.

I am a huge fan of smoked paprika, i put it on everything savory. This one is a beautiful deep red with a wonderful light smoky flavor. I also looked up this co-op and they have other wonderful products and give back to some good causes.
