Yum
I buy freeze dried fruit for my husband. Instead of eating chips, he eats this and other died fruit. Ingredients ONLY pineapple or strawberries or blueberries or what ever other dried fruit you buy one ingredient only. I feel good when I see him or kids eating this instead of chips. Besides I love them too and will always have them available for my family. PS my dogs love the blueberries and strawberries!

Pricey but worth it
This brand of freeze-dried pineapple is preferable bc they are diced and have the best flavor/texture. I tried Augustson pineapple but the taste and texture were both bad. Definitely get this brand of the pineapples.

Solid taste, love the crunch.
Yes, the directions on the label say to mix it with water to prepare it for eating. Not. Necessary. It's basically like eating Lucky Charms, except it's fruit, and it doesn't blow my blood sugar out of the water the way Lucky Charms would. It also doesn't hit my blood sugar the way pineapple packed in syrup or juice does, and being little crunchy bits makes it weirdly easier to snack on without going crazy trying to eat a whole pineapple before it goes bad. My can had a lot of powder at the bottom, which I can pretty easily recognize is just bits that got ground up during the canning process. I'm not even mad.
