If you are looking for a vise with razor sharp flashing not cleaned up after casting, that is sure to slice you up and deliver a nice case of tetanus then this might be the purchase for you. It is a rough poor quality sand cast lump of iron that was sand blasted and then painted with a thick layer of something in an attempt to cover the horrible quality of production. The tracks that the sliding pieces rest on are so rough and clogged that the unit is completely unusable. Also the packaging was really not appropriate for the product. One thin layer of Styrofoam that completely failed allowed numerous dents and dings to mar this otherwise large lovely paperweight. Look at the photos and decide if this is the unit for you!! Handle with care.

The media could not be loaded. It works for what I intended to do. One of the threaded rods is a bit crooked or bent, but doesn't affect what I'm using it for. Comes with bolts, washers and nuts, no lock washers. Both threaded rods are not nicely machined, threads were not that clean and perfect, but it does the job.It's heavy so the original box and especially styrofoam were not strong enough to keep this in packaging. Good thing I asked Amazon to put the item inside another box. Good enough for the price I paid for, and adjust just fine for what I need it for.

The vice is ok for what it costs. I will give it 3 stars 🌟

I was reluctant to buy this one because I broke another one very easily but this one is much better made.

Just what I wanted

Needs clearer description for what it can bolt onto. Basically just ordered it to check fit, knowing it was probably going to be returned. It didn't fit. What a waste of resources.
