This is one of the few 100% wool blankets you can find that don't have any useless finery or fringe, which is something I really appreciate, and it also is one of the few wool blankets that really feel comfortable at the touch. Very warm even if it is thin and light! Very good quality.The only thing I still DON'T LIKE is the fact that it loses hair very easily, even if washed at cold temperature using minimum spin. This is why I have switched to a normal DUVET, which is warm but doesn't lose hair (which goes on everything that comes in contact with the blanket).

Wow, bought 2 of these blankets. They are not as soft as merino wool tops but they are keeping me warm. I hate wool against my skin but I am able to put my arm ontop of it while sleeping.

I bought a version of this on Ebay where it is described (amongst other things) as a sleeping bag liner. It actually weighs almost 2kgs, so way to big and heavy for that. Before ordering I asked what it weighs and was told 600g!The wool is also very "scratchy ", not what I expected from Merino Wool. I have t-shirts, thermals and socks all made from merino, which are wonderfully soft and light. This just feels like fairly low grade wool.
