Zoku CC113-RD Coco-Cola Float and Slushy Maker,Red,10 x 10.16 x 16.6 cm; 500 Grams

I’m a big fan of slushies, especially cola flavoured ones- but they aren’t so common these days. Was curious when I saw this... thought it may be worth a go. Chose the Coke branded one as I liked the look for a few extra quid.It arrived yesterday- I read the instructions, washed dried and put in freezer at 1500. It’s recommended to have it in the freezer 8-18hrs. I couldn’t wait- thought I’d give it ago 6hrs later. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it did (I did pop a couple of ice cubes in the drink as I thought it may help- took them out half way through the process). What resulted was a refreshing cold and soft slush! (That the Mrs tried to nick off me!)You should’ve seen the smile on my face!Im guessing it would work faster if I had kept it in freezer for the recommended time.Washed/ dried and back in the freezer ready for tomorrow afternoon!A bit pricey for what it is- but I’m going to make sure I get good use from this! I’m looking forward to experimenting and trying different recipes.

I think it doesn't seem to do the job the way you expect. It takes 18 hours of freezing and the coke seems to get icy and stuck to sides of the cup but not in the middle. So defeats the purpose.
