I use this peppermint soap to bathe my dogs before putting on flea treatment to sort of clear the slate. Through the cold months I don't use flea treatment, only bathe with peppermint soap, and they have not had any fleas. It also makes them smell nice for a few days, especially after rolling in something special in the pasture. My Border Collie likes the flavor; it's a bit of a battle to keep her from licking herself before I get it all rinsed off, but she is unharmed by it. I'm hoping she'll fart candy canes, but so far, no luck there. I also use this soap in my horticultural oil/ insecticidal soap recipe.
