No I returned it. More like a garden/camping chair Would be great for that. Not sturdy enough for someone with mobility issues in my opinion

I would not say that this fabric was wipe able. It is too plush.

Is this chair truly comforable enough to lounge in for an entire evening of tv watching?

That depends my 26 year old son finds it very comfy as a much older person less mobile it’s comfy enough, I struggle to get up out of the chair. It has a metal internal frame and lots of padding if you need a cheap ish chair in a small space it’s great. But it’s not an armchair. Got to say after a year it’s still in excellent condition, my son has usually wrecked a chair in a few months. So this one has survived incredibly well.
