These are beautiful 10mm beads, very smooth and well-made. They really do glow - leave them under a strong light for at least an hour and then take them into a darkened room to see their transformation! They contain a naturally occurring form of strontium aluminate, which is also used to make glowing numbers on watch faces. The beads are not strung as a necklace; you will have to string them onto stronger cord and add a clasp.

I tested my new shungite beads using a multimeter and the test showed that these are genuine! Also they are beautiful! Be advised that the holes are quite small, though.

I used to buy those $6 or $9 stones because they’re much cheaper but the quality is nothing compared to these natural stones. I realised the cheaper ones are just dyed so when compared side by side, its just far compared to these natural ones. It’ll cost higher but you’re getting the real ones.I just wish the Dark Nephrite Jade is also 15.5 inches. I measured and its only 15inches. I’m a size 8 so that .5 means a lot

I have purchased a wide variety of natural gemstone beads to use for my jewelry making....and they are all beautiful and unique in their own way.....however, these Pietersite beads are, BY FAR, some of the most beautiful beads that I have purchased to date. I was a bit hesitate given that they were much more expensive than the beads I usually purchase (usually the beads I buy run anywhere from $6-$12 a strand....one strand of these beads was $20. However, when I bought that first strand, I could understand why they had such a high price (and I then went and purchased a second strand of 10mm and 2 strands of 8mm Pietersite. I have since used it in several pieces and these pieces are some of the most beautiful I have ever made. If I could give these beads 1000 stars, I would.

I LOVE them, except this second strand I just purchased has one totally clear bead.Other than this ...I absolutely adore these beads.I also purchased the 16mm beads, I hope none of them are clear.
