Hi JD - plainly Bronchostop syrup is a 'syrup', so must contain some sugars - more specifically, apart from the main constituents, the patient leaflet states, 'Maltodextrin, Acacia (E414), Xylitol (E967), Methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), Raspberry juice concentrate (containing sucrose, glucose and fructose), Xanthan gum, Citric acid monohydrate, Propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216), Raspberry aroma flavouring (synthetic and natural flavourings, propylene glycol (E1520)), Purified water' - so, there it is - sucrose, lactose and fructose in the raspberry juice: the syrup insert does not provide quantities, but the pastille insert specifies 300mg Fructose, 523mg Sorbitol. I have not looked at all the ingredients in close detail, but they appear very open about just what there is in them [as you know, the sugars are found in the fruit, and lactose in milk anyway: sorbitol is a bit different, but I believe has a vegetable - potato - and fruit base also]: I have found the pastilles and the syrup in practice just very effective, and fast acting. You do not state any specific concern - but the manufacturer I am sure will be helpful. I hope this helps - Ross

On the last one I purchased as exiry date of 0/9 21. Hope this helps
