Seems to be good
There are no instructions on how to use it, so I had to do a bit of research and buy some extra ingredients. I've made my own conditioner, and it seems quite good. I can't feel or see any irritation to my skin, and it works well. My hair feels soft and clean. Can't complain.

diy hair products ingredient
This is a review of 'Myoc Polyquaternium-7-4.2oz/119ml, Polyquaternium-7 for Hair, Polyquaternium-7 Cosmetic Ingredient, Polyquaternium-7 Bulk Non-GMO, Paraben free'.This is an ingredient used to formulate cosmetics products, in this case hair conditioners. I mistakenly thought that this could just be diluted and used as hair conditioner which apparently is not the case. That said, if you're into DIY cosmetics at home, or have some cosmetic chemistry knowledge, this is something you could use to make conditioner or other haircare products. It’s manufactured in India, and Polyquaternium-7 is primarily used as an anti-static agent in hair conditioners. The product is labeled as "pure with no additives" and is an organic polymer, meaning it's synthetically produced. I’m not sure if there are natural alternatives available at a similar price point, though it’s worth noting that this ingredient is often considered "not easily biodegradable."I’m not an expert in this area, but after a quick search, it looks like you can find polyquaternium at lower prices elsewhere, depending on the quality and concentration you're after.

Polyquaternium 7 - DIY conditioner making.
This is a 119ml bottle of a cosmetic ingredient - it’s not a conditioner as it is, It’s for adding to formulations to make your own conditioner and leave in.I’ve been experiementing with making my own products for personal use for awhile now and was glad to get this to play with. For me the bonus is that as an ingredient it’s Curly Girl friendly, so I know it’s not going to add silicones that need clarifying.I’ve tried it once in a very basic mix and it mixed well with my other ingredients and I’ve also added a small amount of it to an existing conditioner I have that’s not very conditioning. It’s pretty viscous so pours slowly. There is no smell, so it accepted my essential oil additions nicely. All in all a good conditioning agent for DIY projects.

Great Product
A clear, non scented oil that is super moisturising and easy to use/apply. The oil is quite thick but this adds to the feeling that this is a premium item that should last a long time.

Clear liquid, slight smell, well packaged
I had never heard of polyauaternium-7 until I saw this, and since I make my own skin and hair care items I wanted to try it.I received a 119ml bottle of clear liquid, with a plastic seal over the lid.The suggested dilution is 0.2-5% into the product you are making, and a quick google suggests this is suitable for anti-static products, so hair conditioner is my personal thought. There is a product date and suggested use is within 24months of manufacture. It is incredibly difficult to open the plastic covering as there is no perforation, but on opening I found a “bung” on the inside neck of the bottle to prevent any spill, on removing that I could smell a faint smell of old school plasticine I used to play with a child 40years ago.As yet I haven’t added to any conditioner I make as I still have plenty left, but I will update this review if needed.

Reasonable product, rather expensive
This is an ingredient for making your own cosmetic products, not a ready-to-use item. There are no instructions on how to use it, so I suspect it’s really aimed at businesses making their own body products. However, if you want to make your own for domestic use this is one of the ingredients you’ll need. The product is made in India.Polyquaternium-7 is an anti-static agent used mainly for formulating hair conditioner. It’s described here as “pure with no additives”; it is organic, but it’s an organic polymer, i.e manufactured. I don’t know if there are “natural” alternatives at comparable prices. It is often described as “not easily biodegradable”.I don’t know much about this sector of the market, but a quick look suggests you can buy polyquaternium for making hair products much more cheaply elsewhere, though the value will depend on the quality and concentration.
