You can't lock this seat in place. But you can use a short bungee cord to prevent it from moving very far.

The horizontal pieces that can be folded down are but there’s a thick coating on it. The rest is rope like material. It’s a great chair.

Do the cushions easily to fall or slide off?

Sitting cushions have non slip side and the side pillows have ties.
