Great wee unit
I got this as a backup to my Rotel and luckily in a position to compare it to a variety of decent HiFi amps. I've got to say, this amp is great for the money. If you're used to having something more expensive, you will notice that the sound quality isn't as good as you can get, but it's perfectly adequate, either as a backup or for e.g. watching films/ if you're tight for money or getting for your first HiFi amp/ for your child etc. If you can afford to spend more on your amp then you should, as you can definitely get a better sounding amp, but I genuinely think this is excellent for the money and perfectly useable.

Dont be fooled its good for the money
Nice and compact, others have mentioned the fan but when the music is playing i cant hear it, it has good crisp range and i hsve managed to conect it in concert with my graphic eqaulizer. For the price its worth it and it has just replaced my 40 year old sharp so i hope it will see me out.

Not great, even for the price.
Not great, even for the price. Sound quality is mediocre and rather harsh, bass is reasonable, the tone controls don’t seem to do very much. The fan noise really is quite annoying.Build quality is poor. The volume knob scrapes on the fascia as you turn it. The metallic front looks ok but the sides and top are an unattractive pale beige colour. Overall the build quality is poor.Would be fine for a very undemanding teenager.

Quite a discernible hum from the built in cooling fan.
A good all-around Amplifier for boosting your sound inputs. (Probably too much for my small living room!)The front panel is nicely done in brushed aluminum. But the main body looks like it needs to be slotted into a system or cabinet.

Faulty!
Nice amp and worked well but suddenly started to give out a loud vibrating noise. This could be stopped if I pressed down hard on the left hand side top but only while I did that as soon as I removned my hand it started again. Have ordered another unit in the hope that it was just a faulty one.

Stylish, performs well, excellent value
I bought this to replace an amplifier that was faulty. This amplifier is an audio monitor in a small home studio. There are four inputs - from a couple of computers, a mixer and CD player - so the replacement needed to have four inputs. The stereo Hi Fi amp fits perfectly into this set up - performs well - looks good and is neat and compact. The only thing I don't like - and this is just a minor point - the pointer mark on the input selector switch doesn't line up with the input designations so it's difficult to see what input the amp is currently set to.
