Neurobalance has been formulated by nutrition scientists to deliver just the right daily doses of these synergistic nutrients, in their most bioavailable forms, into the bloodstream. Our in-house team of qualified nutrition scientists are careful to observe tolerable upper limits – a measure of the level above which there may be side effects for some people. To clarify, the RDA is the estimated amount of a nutrient per day considered necessary for the maintenance of good health. Each of our vitamins is provided at levels that are shown to have beneficial effects, while remaining well within 'tolerable upper limits'. The upper limit for vitamin B6 in supplements is 25mg. By sticking to the maximum recommended 4 tablets per day, you will not exceed this limit (4 tablets give 20mg B6) and should, therefore, experience benefits rather than side effects from taking the full daily dose. If you do not wish to take such a high dose, you may wish to consider reducing from 4 to perhaps 2 or 3 tablets of Neurobalance to effectively reduce your intake of vitamin B6, whilst still supplementing this important vitamin in its most bioavailable form. how much calcium citrate is in each tablet please? I already take rocaltrol 0.25mcg daily

Thank you for your question. Calcium is added as an excipient rather than as an active ingredient, specifically used as a common bulking agent. Therefore, the elemental calcium is ~25mg per tablet (3% of the UK nutrient reference value). Whilst Rocaltrol is often used to boost calcium absorption in the gut, it doesn’t contain calcium. Why is there 2 different amounts of magnesium measured?

Thank you for your question. Magnesium supplements are never ‘pure’, and the elemental magnesium fraction of a supplement can range from as little as 6% up to 60%. Many supplement providers only advise the total (bulk) magnesium on labels, since this makes the dose appear to be higher, but we like to make it clear that 100mg of total (bulk) magnesium does not mean 100mg of elemental magnesium. The magnesium in this formula is derived from fully-reacted magnesium citrate. Only fully-reacted magnesium benefits from the increased bioavailability that the carrier provides as the magnesium is bound to the carrier and therefore fast-tracks through absorption pathways. Per serving size of 4 tablets, the bulk magnesium is 752mg, and the elemental fraction is 120mg.
