Vellanki Foods Andhra Special Sweet Ariselu Ghee (500gms)

1. My first impression was the packaging. The sweets came in a bigger outer cardboard box and inside that was two sweet boxes wrapped in excellent condition in a plastic bag( so that the ghee doesn't leak. Inside the cardboard box too was a plastic wrap around the sweets made from ghee.2. 18 numbers of Adhirasam, about 6 cm in diameter and about .75 cm thickness is what you can expect for 500 gms.3. The sweet is made from jaggery,rice flour ,sesame seeds combination.4. The process to make this sweet is tedious as I have personally witnessed my grandmother making it. She used to soak the rice overnight, remove the water,grind it and boil it along with boiled and cleaned jaggery ,turn it into a hard tasty eatable gooey stuff which used to be infused with cardamom powder. This hard mixture would then be deep fried in ghee.5. It is 6 inches of pure deliciousness and healthy too with sesame seeds and jaggery being high in iron content, rice being gluten free and not as bad as wheat based sweets,ghee used as per my grandmother helps in not getting creaky joints or painful joints in old age ( and she lived healthy until the age of 80 with no arthritis or any other health problems) .6. Loved the sweet, reminisced my childhood because it tastes homemade. Worth buying. A must try if you like traditional dishes and are a food conossieur.

Good taste compared to local vendors

I received this today n opened it quickly. It came all the way from south to north in just 3/4 days. I was apprehensive when I ordered this , however to my surprise it was so nicely packed. The package date n expiry date mentioned. Got a freebie as well. Tastes yum. Yum yum. Thanks thanks thanks. Stay safe.

It's ok product, just has to fry more, it's oily otherwise good packing also good,and having kaccha taste no ingredients proper no coconut t chips or elichi

I was actually searching "Anarse" which is similar recipe named in Marathi... I found this and ingredient are same so gave try but actually it's same and taste so yum....😊
