Q: Can this product be used to trim fingernails and toenails -- if used at a slow speed?

I wouldn't do it. Even the slowest speeds are much faster than is safe to use next to tissue. And the Silicon Carbide bit is used for grinding metal; it will tear right through something softer, like toenails and fingernails.

Q: Can this be used to apply a bevel to 6mm glass?

Keep in mind it's shape. You may yield better results w/a BARREL shape if beveling consistent long stretches of anything. Yeah, they should work w/glass, provided you are spraying the surface w/clean water. I use these to round/soften edges on aluminum RC car parts of various grades. I know this is from 2017, I'm just trying to help and I'm bored.
