MOOERUK Gold 900 Micro Preamp (M002)

Sounds very much like playing through an amp, but more convenient. Instead of hauling an amp to mic, I dropped this on my pedal board. Anything in the loop just goes after this pedal but before the DI. It weighs about a thousandth what my tube amp weighs and lets the engineer control the monitors instead of me competing with the other amps on stage. Also, I have this Marshall-ish one and the Vox-ish one so I can switch between radically different tones without fussing with either two heavy amps or my digital board. Each one wants its own >300 mA line to the voodoo, but worth it. At a typical bar gig you won’t have the kind of audiophile audience who could tell the difference between this and the real thing anyway. Definitely worth the money and the pedal board real estate.

This little pedal cranks! I've got it in my pedal board after my MXR micro amp, Mojo-Mojo, then before the Mooer Eleclady, Chorus, Mooer Echoverb and Drum looper and then through a Mooer Baby Bomb. It's a great travel rig and the sound is very versatile. Good strong cleans and plenty of crunch all the way into high gain. Love this pedal.

I love you idea of these preamp pedals. I bought two of them and have returned both. The UK gold and the US gold 100. They sound pretty good, but they don’t clean up with the volume control at all, and on the clean channel, they have this annoying, digital, or other sort of fuzz so whenever you hit a cord and the cord dies out, there’s still this buzzing undertone, which makes it completely unusable for recording and live sound

This little pedal has a big great sound, i just plugged into the return of my amp (as i used to do with my boss gt 100) and the sound its a lot better than the preamps in my boss.The two channels makes this pedal a lot versatile and the sim cab its pretty cool. Thats my setup for my sound, sim cab on and a/b channel mode.

Great for direct recording, sounds like a Marshall. Cab sim sounds pretty good. Also takes a boost pedal really well

Awesome pedal, incredible gain and clean sound. It does what it offers: emulation of JCM900 for a low price.

The sounds are good - better than good even....but the footswitch is different than all your other pedals. A normal pedal switches when you stomp. This one switches when you release the stomp - so, if you think you can go from the clean to the dirty during a song, it's not going to work as expected. If there is a way to change this - I will definitely update my review. This issue for me - takes it from 5 stars to 1.

Pedale eccezionale. Cercavo la tipica distorsione marshall valvolare da mettere in pedaliera: una distorsione con note ben definite anche con tanto gain. È perfetto. Sembra proprio un apmli valvolare.

DI clean tones are fantastic. Overdrive channel isn't particularly Marshall like.

Ausgezeichneter Sound und eindeutiger Brit-Charakter - besonders hervorzuheben ist die Speakersimulation, die zwar keine Parameter zum Verändern hat aber so wie sie klingt für mich perfekt passt. Auch die Möglichkeit, die Kanäle umzuschalten via Footswitch ist prima!Ein Muß für jeden "M"-Fan!
