It's a nice mat for doing soldering work and keeps me from getting burn spots on my kitchen table. :) The only problem is that the lid on one of the little compartments in the upper left won't stay closed at all.

Works great for helping keep disassemble of PS3 models in order! Great help for routine maintenance and organization!

First of all, silicone is a wonderful material. It's heat-resistant, flexible, an excellent electrical insulator, and very easy to keep clean. This mat has all of those properties PLUS the design layout is quite clever, with mini-compartment areas along the left, right and top edges. I'm a design engineer, and there is nothing I would change to make it better than it already is.

Well-thought-out mat. Perfect for working with ESD-sensitive devices, which is nearly all electronics nowadays. Convenient size. Was initially leery of being rolled, but flexible enough, no worries.
