Would it cut perfectly 90 deg. for straight cuts while against a clamped speed square? Trying to avoid a past issue with another jigsaw.

Yes this jigsaw is capable of making 90 degree cuts. I had no problems, in fact, this one of the best jigsaws I have ever used.

The CMCS600B includes 1 wood blade.

Does this accept my dewalt 20v battery?
