Item shipped was not as advertised or illustrated. Very short screws, not highly polished chrome, not a brass internal bolt just a passivized steel bolt. Pushed the key into the packet and tried the lock mechanisms before opening them and one instantly jammed. Glad I never fitted it in the door! The other one was not smooth to operate. Not a good buying experience, and not the only person reporting these same issues.

Item arrived ahead of schedule; 2 star keys with 2 mortice door bolts; item as advertised though not yet fitted; seems suitable for job of enhancing door security; item is a copy of a very similar product of a well-known make and keys seem interchangeable with well-known make as they are cut to the same star profile; plastic handle end of key seems not so robust as its better known competitor; overall though seems a suitable product for the job in hand; would recommend; now fitted; working perfectly!

Bought these as a replacement to a pair of already installed bolts from a 2004 built property (mechanisms had become prone to jamming and bolt travel was gritty) so was hoping for a straight forward swap. Using the dimensions declared in the technical specifications which were within 1mm of what I measured decided would be an exact match- they were.Items were as described - an exact match to the photos. And seemingly comparable quality to the ones previously installed - in fact new ones were 65g in weight compared to 61g of the old). The fixing screws did seem marginally shorter but installation was not affected.Installation was simple given a swap over of what was already installed. Everything matched up perfectly.Bolt movement is as smooth as such mechanisms allow for.Very happy with purchase. Would recommend.

Installed two of these, that part was easy enough. But after a few days of using them once a day, the mechanism became gritty and somewhat prone to seizing. I feel when I lock it that its going to either jam or the key is going to break, the top of it being plastic. I even gave the thing more space in the frame but the issue is in the body of the "lock" (which is basically a toothed rod that the key "cogs" out into the door frame). If it breaks in the open position that's bad enough but if this breaks when it is locked into the frame that would be a disaster, so, I've kind of stopped using them.That defeats the purpose.

Complete utter rubbish dont buy waste of money for the price of them they are made so cheap very small and a very small key rubbish rubbish
