Keyboard lit up, and laptop worked very well for about two weeks. I purchased this in May of 2023 to replace my Acer Chromebook. Within a month the keyboard stopped functioning. Certain keys wouldn’t work or Register in screen. I tried condensed air, I tried updating drivers etc but as a new laptop I shouldn’t have had to. Did every troubleshoot through the laptop itself and through Lenovos website for diagnostics and scans and it shows nothings wrong with it. Months later and I am still unable to use it, and will have to have the keyboard replaced or trade it in for something else.

Been looking for a laptop like this and finally found it . I use this for field work and sometimes to watch videos to where the screen quality (QHD) makes it better to watch work videos in a very good quality. Highly recommended for every day use or even for business trips .

This particular Lenovo laptop is prone to lock up with Windows BitLocker...2 for 2. I purchased this laptop for my wife almost a year ago. After a few months of use, Windows BitLocker locked up the laptop and we needed to take it in for repair as we did not have the passcode saved. The M.2 SSD needed to be wiped for a clean windows install, thus losing all data. I chalked that up to bad luck. But then, upon my recommendation, my Brother-in-law purchased this exact same laptop in November 2023. Within 6 weeks, it also locked up with Windows BitLocker!! This is not likely a coincidence. Something in the way Windows and the crap that is installed on the initial SW build of this laptop is susceptible to falsely deploying BitLocker. If you create a unique MS Windows account when you first set up your laptop, the code to unlock your laptop will be saved to your account. Lesson learned.
