Best alternative
My buick sills were falling off not sticking and tired glue, adhesive and clear tape but looked bad. Went to dealer and was $400 for new ones... no ty so someone gave me this idea and has been working great, non slip for my mother when getting in and hasn't peeled off after car wash

Good quality
Used it on my Ram to cover up some existing scratches and prevent more. Easy to work with. Seems plenty sticky, but i just put them on so i can't tell how it will hold up to cold/heat and water. Used some blue painters tape, established the pattern and cut them out. Pretty forgiving as far as lining it up, slightly touching the car and then pulling back up to reposition as long as you dont press down. Has a clear backing to peel off. It's not sandpaper or extremely rough. I wouldn't use it to prevent slipping in wet conditions, but for the door sill its a perfect texture. Plenty of length to do 2 strips on each door of Ram quad cab.Hopefully it lasts!!

easy enough to install but not enough adhesive
This was easy to cut and fit with a razor blade and pair of scissors. I even used a heat gun to stretch it a bit but the adhesive on the edges just doesn't cut any curves. I'll have to see about its durability in a followup. the clear tape I had before didn't survive the winter.

Edge protective tape
Easy to apply ( clean the surface well), very durable, and looks good. My service tech also said that I made a good choice with this tape

Sticky and provide long lasting bond for demanding application!
The only reason I bought this because it is black and dirt match up my black shoes( to fix the end edge) and car edge which I have scratched during corner parking. ( refer those pictures). It is like super heavy duty duct tape. It holds securely and waterproof, still tension effective and dependable after few months. Adhesion abd fit and really function well!

Needs better adhesive.
Width of the tape is good. The texture is grippy. Just doesn't hold. Had to replace the tape 3 times now. The adhesive is not very sticky. Good thing the rolls are large.

Great product for the price. Don’t be afraid to purchase!!!!
This stuff is awesome. I don’t know why ppl say it doesn’t stick… it has very good adhesive. Maybe if people prepped the surface correctly there wouldn’t be problems. You can cut it to make it fit. Use a heat gun to make it bend around contoured areas. Application was easy. I used a combination of 2” and 2.8” to get my preferred coverage and cleaned all my surfaces with alcohol before application. Seems like it will hold up for a long time. Do not be afraid to buy. Would definitely buy again.

Not a good quality adhesive does not stick to plastic sill
I purchased the Automotive Door Entry Guard Reflective Sill Protector Car Scratch Protector Film, and I couldn't be more disappointed. First of all, the title of this product on Amazon is completely misleading. It claims to be "reflective," but there's absolutely no reflection whatsoever it’s just flat black. Moreover, the product fails miserably in adhering to textured plastic surfaces. Not all vehicles have metal entry points/door sill, and the instructions, as well as other customer questions, falsely claim that it sticks to plastic. In my case, it simply didn't adhere to plastic at all. I even tried a small 1-inch test piece, and it peeled off within 5-6 hours. The quality of the adhesive used in this product is very bad. It's incredibly inferior and doesn't stick to various surfaces as advertised. It seems like this protector will only work on perfectly smooth painted metal surfaces, making it useless for those with plastic or textured auto entry door points.I'm frustrated with the lack of proper instructions and the waste of my time and money on this product. This marks the third item I've had to return to Amazon in search of a reliable solution for protecting my plastic textured surface. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear of this product if you want to stick it on plastic door sills
