Not sure what you mean by 'vegan'. The pecan pieces have been coated in Splenda brown sugar and been subjected to a cooking process where the Splenda sugar coating sticks to the pecan pieces. Nowhere on the package does it say what this 'process' entails. Therefore, imo, I can't say if it is vegan. I will say that they are tastee and helps me curtail my sugar cravings.

Yes, the pecans are pieces...not half's. However, I find them satisfying when I crave a handful or so, to relieve that desire for something sweet, easy and quick. The pieces are an ok size. Because I am trying to eat more nuts, I have mixed them in with a can of 'lightly salted mixed nuts for a serious 'sugar-free' treat.
